Easter at Nana and Papa's

After church we went to Nana and Papa's house for Easter Dinner. We had an Easter Egg hunt, opened more Easter baskets, and took naps. It was a great day celebrating what Jesus did for us by dieing on the cross for our sins and then rising again so we could be with him in heaven one day.

Easter At Home

This was Nolan's First Easter and he was such a happy boy. We first openned Easter baskets then we went to church.

Egg Decorating

On Saturday Nana and Papa came over and we all decorated eggs for Easter. Well, Not Daddy or Papa. They were too manly for that kind of stuff. They worked in the garden instead.

Our Very Own Park!

Daddy found our playground on craigslist and a neighbor's son helped Daddy restain and put it together. It is so much fun to play with.

Nolan at 6 Months Old

I am now 18 pounds, 9 ounces and 27.5 inches. Emma was about this size when she was a year old. Compared to her I am a BIG boy! I am rolling all over the place getting into things I shouldn't. Even though I am not crawling yet I like to find cords plugged into the wall, door stoppers, and my sister's toys. Mommy is nervous about what I will be able to get into when I can crawl and walk since I am already full of mischief. I am also a great eater. So far I am not a picky eater and will eat any vegetable or fruit put in front of me. Right now my favorite foods are Butternut squash, apples, and oatmeal.

Sitting up allows me to play with toys in a whole new way!

When Nana and Papa are here I get to sit in Emma's Booster chair like a BIG kid!

Splish, Splash, I'm takin' a bath! I enjoy bath time very much, especially the splashing part. Mommy often gets very wet.

Daddy Turns 40!

Daddy is really old now. He is officially Over the Hill! He got to have a Surprise Party and all his friends helped make him feel really ancient.

My First Haircut

Mommy and Daddy decided that I was too young to sport a mohawk so I received my first haircut.

Nolan and Solid Food

On April 1st Mommy decided to feed me solid food even though I was not quite 6 months old yet. I was just getting too hungry. Here I was learning what a spoon was.

Then came the rice cereal. I was not sure about it at first, but after a few bites I got the hang of it.

I kept opening my mouth for more and more food.

Its a messy business eating, but I enjoy it all the same!
