I Am 5 Months Old Today!

Mommy and Daddy are amazed with how much I have learned and grown since I was born. I weigh 15 pounds and I am 25 inches long. This means I have gained 8 pounds, 4 ounces and have grown 4 1/2 inches so far. I can stay sitting now and I roll all around my little play area. I could roll farther, but I can only roll one direction so I easily get stuck by the playmat arches or couch. Plus, it is a lot of work and I get tired out easily. I think my Mommy is the most impressed with the amount of sleep I give her now. She feels like she has energy again. I have been sleeping 9 to 10 hours now before I get hungry and wake up. Then I am so tired I fall back to sleep for another hour or 2. This means I do not take a morning nap. I am getting better at taking an afternoon nap though. Oh, and did I tell you that I moved into the nursery? I love my crib. It is so spacious! I can sprawl out and move all about.

Another Fun Day Playing

I got to go to my friend Aubryn's home. She shared her toys with me and we had fun. Aubryn is 2 months old now.

Mommy and I like to play together.

After such a great day I fell asleep on Aubryn's couch.

This is Mommy's friend Deborah. I like her a lot. She teaches Kindergarten with my mom. This is one of many Rick's Restaurant adventures we have had for lunch.

A Playdate with Charlotte Ellis

I met a new friend on Sunday. Her name is Charlotte and she is a month older than me. My mommy and her mommy went to Lamaze class together and they have known each other since they were babies.

Another Week of Firsts

I had a full week. First, I got a new toy that I absolutely love playing with. I am becoming more and more interactive with my hands.

I can even hold my bottle all by myself when Daddy feeds me.

I met some of my daddy's cousins from modesto. They are really nice. I like them. This is David and Heidi with me.

I also showed mom and dad that I am learning to sit up. They have to sit me up but I am strong enough to hold myself in the sitting position for as long as I want.

I had my first fourth of July. Here is my family with some American Spirit.

I got to go swimming on the 4th with some friends. I am not sure what I think of it yet.
