My Friend's Birthday

Emma was invited to her friend Charlotte's 2nd Birthday. Emma got to enjoy a bounce house and some chocolate cake.

...until Emma turns two. In Emma's (or Mommy's) attempts at potty training, Emma has learned to pull up and pull down her her own pants. She has also gone potty and poop in the toilet, but not regularly yet.

Emma is learning to brush her teeth.

Here is a picture of Emma a few days after she had to get her tooth pulled (it was cracked in half and chipped). It was a traumatic experience for Emma and Mommy. If Emma or Nolan ever have to have another tooth pulled Daddy must go next time.

Emma got to play in the first snow of the year, but she has been afraid to walk in it. She did let Mommy put her down so that Mommy could take a picture.

Nolan at 3 Months Old

Nolan is already 14.5 pounds and 24 inches long. He is growing so fast. He already knows how to roll over, though not skillfully yet. Below are pictures showing his accomplishments for this month.

This is what I look like now that I am 3 months old

It took me a little longer to figure out how to use a bottle than my sister, but now it is a piece of cake.

Yes, I am a thumb sucker. I was liking a pacifier until around Christmas time. I decided it was no longer enjoyable to suck on plastic/silicone stuff. I found my thumb instead and decided it was much better tasting.

I smile a lot now and I even giggle sometimes.

My favorite toy right now is my jumper. I enjoy jumping so much this is when I also like to practice my gurgling and talking sounds. I often giggle because it is so fun.

I do find playing exhausting at times. I still fall asleep a lot and take long naps.

Christmas Day Fun

We had a great day spending Christ's birthday with family. First, we went to Uncle Eric and Aunt Beccy's home in the morning. Then in the afternoon we went to Nana and Papa's home. We ate and opened gifts all day long. Nolan slept most of the time and Emma got to play with her new toys most of the day. Daddy did the same. He likes toys as much as Emma does.
