Emma had her 1 month check up

My Mommy and Daddy are very excited because I went for my one month check up and I am very healthy. I am growing too. When I was born I was 20.5 inches now I am 21 inches. At birth I was 6 pounds 12 ounces. When I left the hospital I lost some weight and was 6 pounds and 2 ounces. Now I am 8 pounds and 15 ounces. Some of my new born clothes are getting too tight for me as well. I am sleeping better at night. I only wake up to eat and get my diaper changed about every 2 to 3 hours and fall right back asleep. I am also getting used to my diaper being changed and do not cry as much. I also like bath time now!

This is my Mommy's friend Melissa. She is going to have a baby in May. She gets to practice holding me so when her daughter arrives she will be already a pro at holding new borns.

This is my great grandpa. I got to hang out with him on Sunday.

Now that my Mommy is healing from her C-Section, we go on daily walks and our dog cocoa gets to join us. Cocoa ignored me at first, but now she is beginning to like me.

Can you believe it, I am a month old today!

I made my first trip to Arizona. It took us a little longer than usual to drive there because I was hungry alot, but as you can see I still did well on my first long journey to my Mom's side of the family.

at 7:06 am. She weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces
and was 20.5 inches long.

Dear Friends and Family

I am in the process of changing the website to be Emma centered. Therefore, when she arrives the blog will be ready for me to add pictures and update you on her arrival and progress. Please be patient as the website may change a few times until I decide I finally like the looks of it.

Six more days left and still pregnant

Well, I am still pregnant and the doctor said I may be pregnant passed 41 weeks and possibly may need to be induced because Emma is enjoying her cozy home and is not ready to come out yet even though she is healthy and has a strong heartbeat. My body has not shown much progress either and I have not felt any Braxton Hicks this entire pregnancy. I still have 6 days until my due date so we will just have to wait and see. In the mean time the house is clean and the nursery is ready for our bundle of joy to come. Below is a video of the finished nursery.
