My Very Own Gingerbread House

After watching Mommy and Nana make their gingerbread house, I wanted to make one too. Therefore, Mommy bought a kit that we put together (with some of Nana's help too).

Mommy and Nana spent a couple of weeks making their first Gingerbread house from scratch for a contest at the Women's Christmas Breakfast. They were so excited because they won "Best of Theme" and got a $30 gift card. Here is their house.

While they created, I was doing my own creation decorating cookies. Here is my Christmas Tree Cookie.

We helped Mommy decorate for Christmas! Well, at least we played with all the new and exciting treasures.

Baby Hettinga # 3

Mommy says that she has a baby in her tummy. The baby is due on July 1st. That means Mommy is 9 weeks pregnant. She went to the doctor today and saw the baby's heartbeat. There isn't a picture of the baby though because the technician said she did not want to waste paper! How rude is that!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nana bought matching aprons. It was so much fun to help cook the thanksgiving meal. I helped Nana make the apple pie.

Nolan slept through dinner so here he is eating while we have dessert.

Mommy's and Daddy's Shoes

It is so much fun to play with our parents' shoes. Usually we just make a mess in the closet, but we decided today to wear them. Nolan was extra happy because he could actually put them on since he hasn't mastered putting on his own shoes yet.
