Emma is Two

Emma is such a big girl now. She is potty trained! Well, at least when she is awake. She gets to wear big girl panties now. She did great even going to the store. She has also moved to a twin size bed and has done so well adjusting to the freedom of not being in a crib. Nolan is going to need the crib soon so Emma needed to move to her new room. It amazes Mommy and Daddy how fast time flies. It seems that not too long ago Emma was born and now she is two years old.

Emma's 2nd Birthday Party!

On Saturday, the 19th, I had my second birthday party. It was so much fun. Mommy decorated with butterflies and flowers because I think they are so pretty. I also got pizza for lunch because I like it so much.

Nolan is 4 Months Old

Nolan now weighs 16 pounds and is 26 inches long. He enjoys playing with toys and likes to put them in his mouth unlike Emma so Mommy and Daddy will have to watch him a little closer once he becomes mobile. He is also becoming a little talker with all his gurgling.

Mommy, I am too big for my bassinet now. Get me a crib please!

Friends Are Great To Have

Disneyland

For Uncle Eric's Birthday we went to Disneyland. It was so much fun. Mommy was concerned that Emma would not have fun because she was still so young, but she proved her wrong. Emma had a great time. Her favorites were the Dumbo ride, Its A Small World, and Mini Mouse's home. Nolan came too, but he slept most of the time and Papa enjoyed babysitting him when everyone else rode rides.

My Friend's Birthday

Emma was invited to her friend Charlotte's 2nd Birthday. Emma got to enjoy a bounce house and some chocolate cake.

Just one more month...

...until Emma turns two. In Emma's (or Mommy's) attempts at potty training, Emma has learned to pull up and pull down her her own pants. She has also gone potty and poop in the toilet, but not regularly yet. Emma is learning to brush her teeth.

Here is a picture of Emma a few days after she had to get her tooth pulled (it was cracked in half and chipped). It was a traumatic experience for Emma and Mommy. If Emma or Nolan ever have to have another tooth pulled Daddy must go next time.

Emma got to play in the first snow of the year, but she has been afraid to walk in it. She did let Mommy put her down so that Mommy could take a picture.
