Random Pictures for September

Nolan was caught climbing in Brandon's bumbo seat.  Nolan even attached the tray.  That is one of many benefits of being thin. Toys that are normally for infants still work for all three kids.

 

Brandon has learned to use the jumper.  This is now his favorite toy.

Reading books together makes Mommy so happy because we are sharing.

Creativity at work-- our version of a baby carrier.  Emma used a velcro strap and an arm chair cover.  Nolan used a velcro strap and the basket of our toy shopping cart.  Mommy was impressed with our thinking skills.

The San Diego Zoo

We went to the San Diego Zoo this weekend.  Nolan's favorite was seeing the elephants.  He was amazed how big they were.  He kept clapping his hands and saying "Really big, really big elephants".  Emma's favorite was riding the double decker bus.  She kept giggling because we were so high and could see far away.

The zoo was fun because some of the attractions had things we could play with like the jaguar to climb on (above) and we could pretend we were polar bears (below)

 

 The next day we swam in the hotel pool. Even Brandon and Mommy swam a little bit, but Brandon thought the water was too cold so Mommy just took pictures with her phone.

Opa Comes For A Visit

Since Opa was coming to visit we made chocolate chip cookies for him.

Opa came outside to play with us.  We picked strawberries in the garden, played a little bit of chase, used sidewalk chalk, and rested in our chairs.

Brandon is Three Months Old

I am a little smiley guy now that I know how to smile.  I am 15 pounds and 24.5 inches long now.  I am growing like crazy.  I have grown out of most of my 3 month cloths and now wear 6 months clothes.

My sister loves me so much.

Planting Flowers

On Labor Day Daddy got to stay home, therefore Mommy, Nolan, and I helped Daddy plant flowers in the new planters Daddy made.  We took some dirt from the garden and helped mix it with the regular dirt from the ground that Daddy poured into the planters.  Then we helped Mommy plant the flowers.  It was a lot of fun.

Labor Day Weekend Hike

The whole family went on a one mile hike at Grassy Hollow by Wrightwood.  At the half way point we had a picnic lunch.  Mommy said Emma did really well.  She hiked the whole way and was excited about all the plants and trees that we past by.  Nolan had to be carried a lot of the way.  He was just not quite ready yet to go hiking.  He did enjoy the many rocks we came across on the path and the several monarch butterflies flying around us.  I, Brandon, slept the whole way nuzzled next to Mommy, except when it was eating time during the picnic.

Backyard Summer Swim Days

This summer has been hot so we have been playing in our kiddy pool/slide.  We have also had some picnic lunches outside so Mommy does not have to clean the floors as much.  It is hard for Mommy to keep the house clean now that there are three of us demanding all of her time.
