A Mud Day

Playing in the mud is always fun! Sorry for those of you who can not stand sideways pictures.  No matter what I have tried sometimes they pop up sideways.  If you are a blogger and you have suggestions please let me know how to change this problem.

Hiking At Grassy Hollow

Daddy went backpacking for a week so we decided to do a day hike as well.  We even have our walking sticks that Papa made just for us.
This is Brandon's first hike and he did very well!

We match Papa even with our own camelbaks

After a long uphill trek Brandon needed a break so Mommy carried him.

Papa was exhausted! We wore him out!
Nana let us walk Libby.

After a long fun day we got to sleep in a tent in the living room and pretend we were camping like Daddy.  Even Mommy slept out in the living room with us.

Random Pics For August

Our garden for 2013.  We have been blessed with lots of cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, okra, bell peppers, strawberries, one pumpkin and no watermelon.  We have yet to check our potatoes.

Every year we fight tomato worms.  Here is the biggest I have seen yet.  3 inches long and as fat as an adult finger.

 Painting Day!

Mommy's Birthday

To my dear sweet kids,

Thanks so much for making me a chocolate cake and decorating it with love.  It was a very tasty cake.

To my wonderful hubby,

Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to order me flowers and have it delivered to our home.  I felt very loved and cherished. You are the best!

Working With Papa At The Ranch

Today we helped Papa at the ranch.  We helped stack the hay in buckets and wheel barrels.

Then we fed the horses and gave them water.
Then finally we got to pet the horses.

Then it was time to say goodbye to the horses.  Thanks Papa for the fun experience!
