Cuddle Time with Daddy

I went to my 15 month check up at the Dr. Once again I got shots and I remembered this time what it means to go to the doctors and I made sure Mommy knew the moment I walked into the patient's room until the ordeal was over. Needless to say, Mommy felt bad for me. I am still small for my age, but the doctor seems okay with it this time and says I just must be petite. I am now 19 pounds and 6 ounces. I am also 28.5 inches (I shrunk from last time :0). I graduated from the infant weigh station to the normal standing kind, so it measured me different. Here I am at home being comforted by my Daddy. He is the best Daddy ever!

Our Garden for 2010

It took us about a month to plant everything in the nine garden boxes and install a drip system so we could save on water. Now we get to see plants popping up everywhere. Mommy is especially excited!

This is our third snake in our yard so far this spring. Thankfully they have only been gopher snakes, but mommy is concerned that this summer a rattle snake might find our newly landscaped yard inviting. So far our dog Cocoa has been good at telling Mommy that there is a snake in the yard. Good job Cocoa!

Here I am helping Mommy with pulling weeds and thinning out the seedling in the garden. Well, actually, I am just entertaining myself while Mommy works hard to keep the garden nice.

Garden Shopping at Lowes

Papa helped Mommy and I buy seeds and plants for our garden. I also got to explore the store by looking at so many beautiful flowers.

15 Months Old...

...and as happy as can be. I love books, balls, and Lego's. I have become a little climber too. I have a shelf of toys that I like to empty and climb up on. Mommy is starting to get nervous because it is a cart on wheels and she keeps flowers on top for decorations. Therefore if it fell on me I would get hurt, but I try to sneak a climb when she is distracted. Maybe it is time to bolt it to the wall.

I got my first haircut already(well, a tiny one anyway). Some scraggly hairs were in my eyes and Daddy begged Mommy to cut them, so Mommy gave in and trimmed them up a bit to match some new growth. I am teething again too. I think I am getting lots of teeth at once this time. I have 4 spots that are quite red and I am in pain sometimes and I chew on my fingers a lot since I do not like things in my mouth. Mommy and Daddy have figured out that chewing on cold carrots and celery help me a lot and they taste good unlike those plastic chew toys. They should try them sometime- YUCK!

My Friend Charlotte Came for a Visit.

Charlotte's Mommy, Jaime

We watched the fish swim...
... and of course, played in the sand. What else would you do in the desert?

Happy Mother's Day

I surprised Mommy with beautiful flowers and a card. I tried to write a message on the card, but Daddy had to help me. Mommy felt so loved because Daddy and I thought of her. We even gave her big hugs and kisses.

I also surprised Mommy because I have a new potty chair and I sat on it all by myself and grabbed a magazine to read. I guess I have watched Mommy go potty too many times. (Don't worry, I am not being potty trained yet-I think I am too young because I still do not know what the words poo and potty mean yet, but I like to pretend to be big like my parents and maybe I will surprise them again one day and will want to really try to use the potty when I am older.)

Mommy's Shoes

I usually like playing with Mommy's shoes in the closet while Mommy cleans the bathroom, but this time I decided to put Mommy's shoes on and walk around.

I was actually trying to tell Mommy that I was ready to go outside because I had shoes on.
