Indoor Park at the Mall

Aubryn's Mommy and my Mommy are both having boys in the next few months. They are only 7 weeks apart. It was so hot outside we decided to go to the mall and eat lunch at the kiddie table and play on the rubbery play area. It was fun to sit in chairs just for our size.

Swimming with Charlotte

I got to go to a real pool on July 12th. I was very scared though. I had to hug Mommy almost until the very end of our stay in the pool, but I got brave and began to play on the steps the last few minutes. My friend, who is used to water, was much braver. She even jumped off the edge of the pool several times for her Mommy to catch her.

Daddy Time

In the mornings before Daddy goes to work I get to practice putting socks on Daddy's feet. As soon as he sits in the bedroom chair I run over to him for some Daddy sock time.

My First Picnic

I had a picnic on our grass at home with my friend Aubryn and then we played all afternoon long. I call my friend "Aubee" and I am telling her all about this beautiful plant. Purple is my favorite color right now.

We both love books too.My next door neighbor is really nice. She gave me this water slide because her kids are grown and do not need it right now so I get to play with it. Thanks to Papa, he taught me to walk up the slide so now Mommy gets to be extra nervous!

I'm 17 months Old!

I have 9 teeth now! I am also saying so many words Mommy can not keep up recording them. I can say the name of many body parts, clothing items, and food items. I can put one pair of my shoes on and I can put my shorts on, but my diaper gets in the way and Mommy has to help me pull them over my diaper. I am really good at kicking a ball too. Here is an action picture.It has been so hot here 95-100 degrees that Mommy decided to take 17 month old pictures with me playing in the water. I enjoy my pool and slide a lot.

16 Months Old

Now that I am 16 months old my body is beginning to want to only take an afternoon nap, but some days I still need 2 naps. I am also copying many words that Mommy and Daddy say. I continue to surprise them with the words I repeat. Here are the new words I say regularly now. Apple, bubbles, teeth, baby, shoes, fish, ear, eye, poo poo, turtle, snack, chee for cheese, and na for banana. I also have 7 teeth now.

I got a new chair recently and I enjoy it so much. I like to carry it from room to room and sit in it.

I also got to help Mommy make dinner this week. It was fun being able to spin the lettuce.

Father's Day

I have a wonderful Daddy. He is so much fun to play with and he makes me laugh and smile. Happy Father's Day Daddy!
