Emma is Now 2 1/2

I am a big girl now. At least that is the phrase I use for wanting to do everything all by myself. I tell mommy that I am a big girl so I can brush my own teeth, comb my own hair, dress myself, etc. Mommy thinks I still need help with most things except for dressing myself. I do that really well. I weigh 27.5 pounds and I am 35 inches tall. I can finally fit in 2T clothes. I have been potty trained during the day for a while now, but I also have been dry for a few nap times this week and I sometimes stay dry at night.

Papa comes over for breakfast sometimes and I tell him he has to sit next to me!

I enjoy helping Mommy cook. It was fun making quesadillas.

So far, this is my best friend Aubryn. I like playing with her very much.

The Garden Update

In June my pumpkin seed grew into a plant and I was about to plant it in our garden.

Now look look at how big it has gotten! I even have my first pumpkin growing!

A Moment with Emma

I got to go to my first Movie and I saw Winnie the Pooh. Mommy said I did a great job. Papa and Nolan had some male bonding time while we watched the movie.

Nana's Birthday Party

Nana had a surprise Birthday Party several days early. We couldn't let Nana on that she was going to be showered with love...and boy did she feel loved! The surprise worked, she was clueless.

Disneyland Again!

It was so much fun once again, but we have decided that it is 10 times better on a nice warm winter day because the whole world is not there. This time we had to wait in lines about 30-45 minutes long. For a two year old that is quite a chore, but I did great. I even chose to wait in line to see Mini Mouse. She has the coolest house ever.

Nolan thought the carousel was so much fun he fell asleep in Daddy's smelly armpit, or maybe those smelly armpits made him fall asleep!

Pulling Weeds with Papa

Papa comes over once a week to visit us and I get to hang out with him. Here I am pulling weeds. Papa says I am a hard worker!

Two and a Quarter

I am building a bigger vocabulary everyday and at home I am a little chatterbox, but I am extremely shy once I am around anyone, but family. I love my brother and play well with him so far. I am 32 inches and 25 pounds. I am still quite small for my age, but Mommy says that is okay because Mommy does not have to keep buying me clothes. Daddy says it is good because he is lazy and wants to only lift light things. My brother is in trouble, he's huge!

I enjoy copying Mommy with most things she does. Here I am nursing my baby just like mommy with a boppy pillow and a rocking chair.

I also have a great imagination. I enjoy calling people on my play phone, making food for my family to eat with my toy kitchen, etc. I am playing music in the bathtub, singing songs. Mommy called me a rock star!

Doing Dishes

I like to help Mommy and Nana with lots of house chores. This is my latest job I like to do.
